Loved it - fabulous location, wonderful staff. Our room felt as if it was a lovely little haven in the middle of nowhere. Game drives were amazing - even in the driving rain! Our ranger, Forget, was a mine of information and a great guide

The food was "interesting" and there were a lot of meals and snacks!! A little bit disorganised as our ranger wasn't aware we were there the first morning - fortunately we woke up in time. Suggest you set your own alarm! Room was very dark - but that was part of its attraction

Western Cape Game Reserves

Flanked by the Indian and Atlantic Oceans, The Western Cape boasts almost 1,000 km of unspoilt scenic beauty. Western Cape Game Reserves are blessed with unparalleled botanical beauty and a wealth of flora and fauna. As part of local wildlife conservation efforts, wildlife including The Big Five have been relocated to lands they once freely roamed, including the reintroduction of endangered species such as Cape Mountain Zebra, black harrier, black rhino and many more species. This region holds the distinction of being the only fynbos region in the world that is home to free roaming Big Five game.

The Western Cape in South Africa is a wonderful destination for a safari holiday that combines Big Five game viewing, in a malaria free environment, with the beauty of the Cape Winelands and the diverse flora of the Klein Karoo and spectacular Garden Route.

Experience “the Big Seven”, by including Whale Watching and Great White Shark spotting (or for the adventurous, Shark Cage diving) into your wildlife experience.
