This only helps add to the allure of a holiday here, knowing you’ll get the beach+++ for so very little.

And We’re Off!

This special starts in London with an overnight flight into Johannesburg which arrives in the morning. Don’t feel you must go to London if you’re not from the UK however! Cape Tours can augment your itinerary regardless where you’re start point is from. Once you clear customs you will take a trip to Port Elizabeth where Cape Tours reps will meet you and transfer to the Kichaka Game Lodge.

First 3 Nights – Game Lodge

The Game Lodge experience is truly magnificent. This one is a 20,000 acre private reserve which is nestled between two streams in a lush valley. The lodge has places where you can watch the wildlife right out in the open, next to watering holes and looking out into the vista. There are ten luxury suites there made from stone and thatch to blend seamlessly into the surrounds, each hidden from the others and each possessing its own plunge pool. It doesn’t get more private and sumptuous than in this lodge. There is also a library so you can curl up with a good book as the animals come and go nearby.

THEN:

Option 1 (3 nights)

From the game lodge you’ll head to Cape Town for a hired car collection where you’ll transfer over to Franschhoek, one of the most renowned winelands in the world!  The six biggest wine regions, each possessing its own brand and flavor, are: Constantia, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl, Robertson and Wellington. Each of these areas will thrill you with their own signature taste. You’ll be staying at The Last Word, a bed and breakfast inside a luxury home, where you’ll be surrounded by 5 star amenities and comfort.

OR

Option 2 (3 nights)

The other option for travel from the Game Lodge is Hermanus and it’s the perfect time of year to go! Hermanus is known for its Southern Right Whales and Orcas you can spot with the naked eye in the open waters. It is called the Whale Coast with good cause!  It is also where two oceans meet and is a diverse land of biodiversity and opportunities for exploration!  There are 14 km of walks along the cliffs, and another 40 km of walks in nature reserves and beaches. While here you’ll stay in the Harbour House Hotel, famously restored to its original glory from 1920.  The terrace sports an infinity pool which overlooks the ocean and is complete with a pool bar within their pavilion. The suites have kitchenettes and a lounge, as well as complete Romantic Rooms. One of these Romantic Rooms is yours for your stay while here.

4 Nights in Cape Town!

After one of those options you are headed back to Cape Town for 4 nights. Cape Town has so much to do that it cannot all be listed here. Just a few of the many offerings include a scenic coastline, Table Mountain – Lion’s Head and Signal Hill, baboons, ostriches, penguins at Boulder’s Beach, maritime history at Simon’s Town, and walk the treetop path at Kirstenbosch’s botanical gardens. While you’re here you will be staying at easily the best hotel in town – The Queen Victoria Hotel. This is a 5 star boutique hotel renowned for its design and attention to detail.  There are three suites and 31 luxury rooms offering a panoramic view of Table Mountain or Cape Town’s harbour. You can enjoy a full mini-bar in the room as well as pampering accessories.
