AIRPORT / V&A WATERFRONT (CAPE PENINSULA) – 4 Nights:

Cape Town is without doubt one of the most beautiful destinations in the world. Blending the old with the new, it has a relaxed, almost continental atmosphere. The influence of early Dutch settlers in 1652, Malay slaves and British rulers have created a rich tapestry of culture not found anywhere else.

Camps Bay is a trendy suburb, 7 minutes from the centre of one of the world’s most beautiful city, Cape Town. Set against the impressive backdrop of the Twelve Apostles mountain range, Camps Bay beach is one of Cape Town’s largest and most beautiful beaches. Restaurants and bars line the palm-tree promenade opposite the beach. Local life is casual and in the evening residents and holiday makers can be found enjoying sundowners at the many chic sidewalk cafés on the beachfront.

At a place where the earth, sea and sky meet, life begins. Here lies the luxurious Twelve Apostles, poised on the Atlantic edge and flanked by the Majestic Table Mountain and her Twelve Apostles.

The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa stands at the edge of the world. On one side, a line of majestic mountains – The Twelve Apostles – reaches towards the heavens; on the other, the sun sets on breeching whales, playful dolphins, and crashing Atlantic rollers. And all around, you can walk the wilderness trails of the Table Mountain National Park. We’ll even pack you a picnic.

And yet this luxury 5-star boutique hotel is just a few minutes from worldly, cosmopolitan Cape Town. City-centre theatres and art galleries, plus the shops and restaurants of the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront are only 15 minutes away via our complimentary car transfer service – quicker still if you use our helipad.

Interior decor is just as appealing. Our light, airy, and peaceful rooms are an eclectic mix of contemporary African style, classic European comfort and effortless, up-to-the-minute technology. Cool colours and rich fabrics bring elegance and wilderness serenity. At The Twelve Apostles, you want for nothing: every room includes 24-hour room service, individual air conditioning, entertainment centres with DVD, and plush bathrobes and slippers.

CAMPS BAY / BUSHMANS KLOOF WILDERNESS RESERVE – 3 Nights:

Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve, located 270 kilometres from Cape Town, is a 5-star ecological oasis, uniting luxury and nature, providing the ultimate wilderness experience. A sanctuary to many endangered species of fauna and flora and unique for over 130 San Bushman rock art sites.

Bushmans Kloof is a South African Natural Heritage Site within the Cederberg Wilderness Area, and forms part of the Cape Floral Region, a proclaimed World Heritage Site. Depending on the occurrence of good winter rainfalls, the veld bursts into spectacular flower sometime between July and October, the botanical treasures of Bushmans Kloof include over 755 indigenous plant species spread over three biomes: dry mountain Fynbos, succulent Karoo and mountain forest. Some of these species cannot be found anywhere else, and Bushmans Kloof has identified its own “Cederberg Seven” – plant species unique to the area and which are being nurtured on the property.

Accommodating a maximum of 32 guests, all suites and guest rooms are elegantly appointed and furnished to create a feeling of restfulness and peace. Guest rooms are either in cottages set among landscaped gardens and pools, or form part of the original Manor House (circa 1843), where the suites were named after early Scottish pioneers and explorers. A subtle fusion of African and European design enhances your personal space at Bushmans Kloof, while small surprises and thoughtful details offer you a special welcome.
