Cape Tours are tailor-made tour specialists and all our holidays are tailored to meet our clients' exact objectives and expectations and to ensure that they remain in control of their holiday at all times, with the added bonus that they are in the safe hands of our South African born travel experts
The key factors that influence the cost of any holiday to Africa include flights and airport taxes; ground arrangements; specials and exchange rates. All our ground arrangements are contracted in either in South Africa Rand or US$ and are therefore subject to change on a daily basis. To counter this fluctuation in the exchange rates, all our quotes are guaranteed for at least seven days and once the holiday is booked the costs are locked in.
The tour examples below are suggestions only and are intended to provide you with a starting point to designing your very own 'Taste of Africa'. These may therefore be amended in any shape or form to include your preferred structure and preferred properties.
As a guide first-time visitors to South Africa opt to visit Cape Town, Winelands, Overberg (during the whale season July to Nov), the Klein Karoo, the spectacular Garden Route and end off with two nights at a Big Five safari. The average first visit to South Africa is 13 nights plus 2 nights flying
The example tours include the lead-in costs of direct economy class flights as well as current airport taxes. You holiday cost can be reduced by airlines and properties releasing additional sale promotions from time to time; this will be reflected in any quote subsequently requested and provided. Flight costs and taxes are always subject to change until booked and ticketed. The overall cost is always subject to exchange rate fluctuations until booked. Whilst we have provided a cost for each category of accommodation, namely Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum, the sample tour costs highlighted below can be mixed and match to meet all budget expectations, so please ask at the time of your enquiry. These from costs are valid for travel for the period 1st May to 31st August 2013”. Costs for travel from 1st September 2013 are therefore subject to increase
