Chiawa Camp

Location: Lower Zambezi National Park

Located in the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park, Chiawa Camp is superbly sited to enjoy both the cool shade of a grove of mahogany and faidherbia trees, and the denim expanse of the mighty Zambezi River.

Chiawa is a gentle and unhurried experience for both wildlife and guests, while still offering up a diverse range of activities.
From game drives to heart-stopping game walks as well as canoeing, boating and angling – all in the company of Africa’s finest guides.

Accommodating a maximum of eighteen individual guests, Chiawa Camp offers superior tents, constructed almost entirely of locally sourced and natural materials, and benefits from comfortable beds, solid furnishings, hot water & lighting, raised decks, and an enviable view.

From the open-sided central lounge to the floodplain fire-pit; the tents’ private teak decks complete with outdoor showers and daybeds to an inviting plunge pool overlooking the Zambezi, every aspect of the camp is designed to encourage engagement with the stunning surroundings.

Each of the luxury tents boast spectacular views over the Zambezi River and its vast array of resident wildlife. Elephant, lion, leopard, hippo and much more, occupy this gorgeous region of Zambia.
