Its eight classic tents are designed to make the most of what Mother Nature provided. Each has a panoramic view along the Chongwe River, a spacious open-air bathroom, a porch with comfortable lounge chairs and features local textiles and handcrafted furniture.
Tented suites feature private, shaded outdoor bathrooms with a freestanding bath and shower (you will love the outdoor bathroom, nothing like some windswept ablutions), and a verandah with views across the river. The camp communal areas convey a relaxed vibe. All areas are shaded by canvas and open-sided, letting nature through at its leisure. There is plenty of seating with plush cushions, spacious dining area, an open, sandy campfire next to the river (perfect for starry night skies) and a swimming pool.

Mfuwe Lodge
Location: South Luangwa National Park
Set around two lagoons, shaded by a canopy of ebony and mahogany trees, Mfuwe Lodge is the perfect place to ease into Luangwa life. Located just inside South Luangwa National Park, less than an hour drive from Mfuwe International Airport, you’ll be amazed at the ‘deep in the bush’ feeling of Mfuwe Lodge.
