Cleopatra Mountain Farm House, in the Drakensberg mountains of KwaZulu Natal, is a luxury gourmet retreat tucked deep into the mountains. Its picturesque location, beside a beautiful dam, is not far from Giants Castle Reserve and Kamberg Nature Reserve with their famous San (Bushmen) Rock Art.
However, Cleopatra Mountain Farm house is mostly known for Richard’s legendary ‘foodie’ dinners, and breakfasts. Excitingly different, Richard offers fine gourmet food using local ingredients and home-grown herbs. You’ll need a hike or two to walk off the glorious food on offer, with several courses even for breakfast!
The decor at Cleopatra is eclectic and bold, with many artefacts to interest and amuse its visitors. The 11 rooms and suites are quirky and welcoming, with many personal touches.
