4 nights at Fancourt

Fancourt Golf

Montagu Golf Course is by far the most popular of the three Fancourt courses. It is best known for the amazing scenery. The fairways are lined with private houses with perfectly manicured gardens and colourful flower beds. Add to that a few ponds, walkways, wooden bridges and the sound of chirping birds. To round off this picturesque image with mountains in the background and you finally have your place in paradise.

The Outeniqua Golf Course, named after the surrounding Outeniqua Mountains, is considered the easiest of the three golf courses and especially enjoyed by new golfers.

Finally, we have The Links Golf Course, an 18-hole championship course and a bucket list experience. Although many golfers are intimidated by its difficulty, the one thing you don’t have to worry about too much is battling the winds.

3 nights at Pezula

Pezula Golf Course

Situated in the coastal town of Knysna, Pezula offers beautiful views of the Indian Ocean, the Knysna lagoon and the Outeniqua Mountain Range. The course prides itself on its diversity of play; “no two challenges, or views, are alike.” There are three signature holes, the 13th through 15th and they are all on the cliff that overlooks the Indian Ocean. The 5 different tee options cater to all golfing levels and the course, that is difficult to navigate on foot, provides golf carts.

Set in probably the most scenic town in Africa, situated lower than the ridges that surround it – and therefore untroubled by the wind that plagues so may coastal courses – and boasting an unusual configuration of five par-5s and five par-3s, Simola offers challenging and rewarding golf.

The Goose Valley Golf Club offers a splendid Gary Player designed 72 par, 18-hole signature golf course. Golfers will experience breath-taking views of the Keurbooms Lagoon, the Indian Ocean, the spectacular Tsitsikamma Mountains and the famous Robberg Peninsula. The beauty of the natural fynbos, indigenous trees and an abundance of animal and bird life add a special dimension to your golfing experience.

3 nights in St Francis Bay

St. Francis Bay Golf Course

Discover the destination that surpasses every expectation, every time – St Francis Links in St Francis Bay. St Francis Links golf course is a must on your golfing holiday itinerary. It’s the perfect blend of nature, relaxed living and the oldest of golfing traditions, and as Jack Nicklaus said, St Francis Links may well be “…the best golf course he has ever seen”.

St Francis Bay Golf Course has been fashioned on an incredible piece of estate that overlooks the ocean. The par 71, of moderate length provides a challenge and breaking par on this “thinking” course is going to prove to be a challenge. Fail or succeed there’s always the 19th to work out just what happened!
