Table Mountain Robben Island view

The beautiful mother city of Cape Town has much to offer its visitors. From Table Mountain to Robben Island, its sights and sounds ensure a memorable stay. However, no visit would be complete without exploring the Cape Peninsula.

Situated at the tip of the African continent and within a short drive of the city, the scenic routes of the Cape Peninsula offer unsurpassed views over mountains and seas; the rugged cliffs of Cape Point; the wooden walkways of Boulders beach allowing you to observe the Jackass penguins in their natural habitat; Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, a haven for lovers of nature, flora and fauna and Groot Constantia Wine Estate, the oldest wine estate in South Africa.

2 nights in the Cape Winelands

Franschhoek winelands

The Cape Winelands is South Africa’s Bordeaux or Napa Valley! It encompasses the world renown wine routes of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl and Wellington. But this is a wine route with a difference, offering visitors not only wine tasting, but a “wine experience.

Towns and villages have many historic homesteads and monuments, and every so often fruit orchards are to be seen, whose produce may be found in all corners of the world. It is the Mediterranean climate and winter rainfall of the south-western Cape that produces some of the best wines in the country.
